Erlanger, KY--The following release from Jewel-Craft Inc. celebrates the company's 75th Anniversary:

"What does it take to thrive for 75 years in the jewelry industry? As Jewel-Craft Inc. celebrates this milestone, they give credit to an enduring passion for jewelry, their loyal customers and their faithful employees.

"Earl Wesdorp founded Jewel-Craft Inc. in 1947 in his garage attic with little money, old tools and a passion for serving customers. In 1950, his son Bob and his wife Dot jumped on board, solidifying the foundation of the business. Their sons, Gary and Benet, later took over, successfully overseeing the expansion of Jewel-Craft throughout the U.S., as well as into other countries. Today, the third generation of the Wesdorp family continues the Jewel-Craft family legacy.

"Through the years, the company has grown its small jewelry repair business to an international operation that provides a full service of jewelry craft services to small or large-scale businesses. The one thing that remained true during this time is that the folks at Jewel-Craft Inc. love jewelry. Every single day, the Jewel-Craft team adores honoring, persevering and sharing the craft of jewelry. This is shown through the many high-quality services they offer, including manufacturing, appraisals, custom design, laser engraving and trade work. Their high level of work led to three RJO Vendor of the Year awards in 2009, 2019 and 2021.

"As the Wesdorp family looks back over the past 75 years at Jewel-Craft Inc., they say they are grateful for everyone who's supported them and made Jewel-Craft Inc. the success it is today. They say they are “honored to have dedicated customers who continually work with them and share their soft spot for jewelry. They’re also humbled by their hardworking "pit crew" of wonderful employees, who’ve always made sure Jewel-Craft’s services remain second-to-none in the industry.”

“Jewel-Craft has been around for so long we’re like a familiar old friend in the industry,” said Walker Wesdorp, senior director of Information. “We don’t anticipate going anywhere anytime soon and that’s because of the people who work here. We have a lot of new faces, but our core employees have always set the tone for sharing a passion for jewelry and keeping the legacy of the family business strong.”

"The Wesdorp family says it is excited for Jewel-Craft’s future. However, they know one thing will remain constant: “carrying the joy of jewelry for another 75 years and beyond.”
