Celebrity News: People’s Choice And Golden Globes Jewelry

Los Angeles, CA—As soon as the New Year champagne is tossed back and the confetti swept away, awards season gets underway. Forevermark and Le Vian were just two brands that made a huge splash at both the People’s Choice Awards and the golden Globe Awards on January 10. Here were some of the top trends from brands you know:

At the People’s Choice Awards January 6, presenter Julianne Hough wore Forevermark by Jade Trau XL Luna ear cuff n 18k white gold, Forevermark stackable eternity band set in 18k white gold with 2.97 ctw. of diamonds, and round brilliant stud earrings in 18k white gold, 1.00 ctw.

Chloe Bridges wore Forevermark golden diamond bangle bracelets in 18k yellow gold, one with 1.58 ctw of diamonds, and the other with 1.88 ctw. She also wore a Forevermark by Jade Trau pavé signet ring set in 18k yellow gold and her Oval Straight Rae ring set in 18k yellow gold, and a Forevermark Center of My Universe halo three-stone diamond drop earrings set in 18k yellow gold with 5.53 ctw. of diamonds.

Actress Chelsea Kane wore a Le Vian Blackberry Mesh stainless steel bracelet set with 18K Vanilla Diamonds and Vanilla Gold deco estate design to the People's Choice Awards, while actress Shay Mitchell wore four Le Vian Vanilla Diamonds bangles.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress Ming Na Wen wore Erica Courtney’s black diamond Cloud ring with a 33.13-ct. black diamond as a center stone, surrounded by 1.37 ctw of diamonds. She also wore Courtney’s Sweet Gypsy earrings with 5.38 cts garnet drops and 1.53 ctw diamonds.

At the golden Globes, Kate Hudson sparkled in Forevermark round brilliant diamond drop earrings in platinum, 20.00 ctw; a diamond eternity band in 18k white gold, 2.97 ctw; and another diamond eternity band in 18k oxidized gold with 2.8 ctw of diamonds. Total approximate value, $1.3 Million. 

Hudson also posted on social media about the letdown of having to give back the borrowed bling:

Golden Globes nominee and Spotlight actress Rachel McAdams (below left) wore Forevermark Flower Cluster stud earrings, 5.25 ctw; round brilliant stud earrings, a cut-out diamond band set in 18k white gold, .70 ctw; and a Cornerstone diamond eternity band set in 18k white gold, 3.22 ctw. She also wore a Forevermark by H. J. Namdar round brilliant stud earring set in 18k white gold, Forevermark by Maria Canale Luna ring with round brilliant diamonds set in platinum, 8.53 ctw; Forevermark by Mémoire five-stone round brilliant diamond band set 18k white gold, 2.0 ctw; and a Forevermark by Precision Set five-stone cushion cut diamond band set in platinum, 2.55 ctw. Total approximate value, $400,000.

E! Red Carpet host Giuliana Rancic (above right) wore Forevermark round brilliant solitaire ring set in platinum, 10.00 ctw; Forevermark by HJ Namdar three-stone diamond ring set in 18k white gold, 3.07 ctw; and three-stone diamond cluster ring set in 18k white gold, 1.64 ctw.

Actress America Ferrera sparkled in earrings and rings by Simon G. Jewelry, approximate value $51,000. Also decked out in Simon G. were Portia Doubleday, in a bracelet and Liliana Vasquez in a triple-band diamond ring and 18k white gold and diamond snake ring. Total approximate value, $71,00.

Kate Bosworth wore Norman Silverman diamonds to the awards and the 2016 InStyle And Warner Bros. afterparty.

Lots of celebrities donned Le Vian for the Globes and all the pre- and post-event parties: Corinne Foxx, Miss Golden Globe 2016, wore a Le Vian Exotics Blackberry and Vanilla Diamonds ring. Nicole Scherzinger wore a Strawberry ’N Vanilla Snake ring. Actress Niecy Nash wore Chocolate Diamonds bangles and ring to the InStyle and Warner Bros. Golden Globe Post-Party at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, HBO's Post Party at Circa 55 Restaurant, and Amazon's Golden Globe Awards celebration. Bar Paly wore a Passion Ruby ring to The Weinstein Company and Netflix Golden Globe Party, presented with DeLeon Tequila, Laura Mercier, Lindt Chocolate, Marie Claire and Hearts On Fire at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Actress Danielle Panabaker wore a Le Vian Exotics Blackberry and Vanilla Diamonds ring to The 2016 InStyle And Warner Bros. party, while actress Lily Rabe wore a Le Vian Exotics Blackberry and Chocolate Diamonds ring to several afterparties.

“Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez (top of page) wore a Doves diamond ring (below) to the Moet and Chandon '25 Years at The Golden Globes' celebration on January 8 in West Hollywood, CA.

Platinum also was well represented at the Golden Globes:  

Lady Gaga wore Neil Lane platinum and diamond earrings and stacked bracelets; Cate Blanchett wore Tiffany & Co. pearl, diamond and platinum earrings and a platinum and diamond cuff.
