New York, NY--Curating a collection of comfortable everyday jewelry is the way to go, according to a report in Business Insider, which spoke with professional stylists on their predictions of what will be popular this year. The move toward quiet luxury continues. Other trends include stacking and layering pieces, a return to the 1990s and using jewels to create one’s personal style.

Personal and celebrity stylist Kim Appelt reportedly predicts a general trend toward convenience, comfort and ease in 2025, such as stacked gold pieces — offers an effortless way to accessorize.

The stylist emphasized the subjectivity of this trend, saying, "your body and your environment" dictate which pieces are best suited to you, according to the story.

One trend involves stacking those rings as well.

“Everyone has a million rings on, like rings on every single finger,” Ceila "CG" Quarles, who's styled multiple musicians and worked at RSVP Gallery, told the publication.

The stylist suggested leaning toward solid precious metals rather than stones for a more industrial feel.

Sandra Okerulu, a celebrity stylist with over 10 years of experience, said it’s time to start experimenting with jewelry trends from the 1990s. This could mean investing in customized nameplate pieces or an initial ring surrounded by encrusted gems.

Play around with minimalism this year.
