JFC’s 2023 Jewelers for Children Day to be Held September 23 August 23, 2023 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Jewelers for Children (JFC), says the next Jewelers for Children Day will be held September 23. JFC says this event aims to “unite retail jewelers across the country in a collective effort to make a positive impact on the lives of children facing various forms of adversity.”
Since its inception, JFC has donated more than $61 million through its charity partners: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Make-A-Wish America, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the National CASA/GAL Association. JFC also provides support to Make-A-Wish International and the Organization for Autism Research.
Jewelers for Children Day serves to underscore the significant role the jewelry industry plays in supporting these charitable causes and making a difference in the lives of children, JFC said in a statement.
Retailers don't have to make a monetary contribution. Instead, JFC says retailers can raise awareness about the event and the essential work the jewelry industry does to support children in need.
To further amplify the impact of Jewelers for Children Day, JFC and Elias World Media created a lifestyle "Video News Release" segment to generate nationally syndicated news media coverage to raise awareness of JFC Day and seasonal jewelry trends.
Retailers who sign up to participate in JFC Day 2023 can personalize the video by adding their logo, they can use the video on their social media channels or in-store, and they can pitch the video to local news outlets. This enables retailers to showcase their participation in this cause, while promoting their commitment to the local community.
“This event provides a powerful platform for the jewelry industry to come together and make a lasting difference in the lives of children in need,” said David Rocha, JFC executive director. “By leveraging the personalized video news release, retailers can share their commitment to philanthropy and inspire their communities to get involved.”
