Los Angeles, CA--John Moran Auctioneers reveals its dynamic duo for the Jewelry & Watches department: Tom Burstein and Peggy Gottlieb. The duo boasts an impressive resume, having deep roots in the jewelry and auction sectors.

According to a news release, Tom Burstein, stepping in as director, carries almost three decades of experience. His career highlights include senior roles at globally recognized auction giants such as Christie's, Phillips, and Sotheby's. 

Not stopping there, Burstein also functioned as Vice President at Harry Winston, supervising their US retail and the Winston heritage wing. Historic auctions, including those of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor, and President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan, has felt Tom's touch.

The report added that Gottlieb, stepping into the Senior Specialist role, is a familiar name in LA's luxury jewelry circles. She has a GIA Gem Trade Laboratory staff gemologist background and significant positions at Sotheby's, Heritage and Christie's auction houses. Her career has centered on acquiring top-tier jewelry for auctions and executing appraisals. 

For those interested in consigning, John Moran Auctioneers is open for submissions until October 27 for the scheduled Jewelry & Watches auction on December 5, 2023.
