Johnson Jewelry Marks Its Return with a Revamped Downtown Store July 24, 2023 (0 comments)
Worthington, MN--After a major refurbishment over several months, Johnson Jewelry celebrated its grand reopening on July 5. This followed an intense holiday weekend transitioning from a temporary Third Avenue location to its original home at 1009 Fourth Ave.

Johnson Jewelry Store manager, Angie Schieck, described the renovation as having a snowball effect that began with the need to address a leaking roof causing sagging in the store's ceiling and the subsequent installation of an additional support beam, in a report published in The Globe.
Soon, it became clear that they needed new display cases for the store's jewelry, a new safe, a more secluded work area, and enhanced handicap-accessibility features. Consequently, the entire store layout was revamped under the watchful eye of local contractor Jeff Meinders.
The report noted that Johnson Jewelry now boasts a more open and accessible environment. The newly refurbished store now allows customers to move around freely and easily access the new handicap-friendly restroom.
Back in its original location on Fourth Avenue, Johnson Jewelry has resumed its regular business hours: 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays.
In anticipation of the upcoming holiday season, Johnson Jewelry will soon begin ordering jewelry, but it currently offers an expansive selection of rings, necklaces, earrings, watches, and more.
