New York, NY–Fine jewelry brand, Judith Ripka, announces a limited-edition capsule collection with Italian Architect Elena Manferdini. The Adoro Collection designed for Judith Ripka is the first in a series with women artists and designers, setting the tone for a groundbreaking, multidisciplinary look at jewelry’s expressive potential. In 1977, Judith Ripka created her first 18-karat gold jewelry collection and among her many milestones, Judith Ripka was chosen as one of the “The Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World” and received the DeBeer’s Award for Outstanding Jewelry Design. Judith Ripka has long seen the power in collaboration—each master in the fields of architecture, art, design, and technology, will reimagine jewelry through their unique lens. Elena Manferdini was selected to be the first in this series because of her twenty plus years of professional experience in architecture, art, design, and education. Manferdini was honored with the ICON Award as part of the LA Design Festival in 2019, a prize that recognizes iconic women who have made an indelible mark on Los Angeles, and her eponymous atelier has completed projects over three continents.

“These collaborations provide a whole new lens through which we can reimagine the art of jewelry making,” shared Robert D’Loren, CEO of XCEL Brands. “We believe that collaborations between brands, retailers, suppliers and authentic creative sources is the future of our industry. It all begins with nature and works its way up through art, music, film, technology, automotive, aviation, architecture, fashion and now social media. Bringing together or mashing up all of these creative disciplines is extremely exciting to all of us at Judith Ripka. ”

The limited-edition collection marries geometric patterns with organic movement to create jewelry that is at once sensual and precise. Manferdini expresses her signature vision in the interplay of fluid lines, spatial rhythm and rigid material, and the balance of function. The results are strikingly beautiful, thought-provoking and unlike anything else in contemporary jewelry.

“Jewelry is a universal form of adornment and it has been a part of mankind since before history was written,” says Elena Manferdini. “The Adoro collection is instantly recognizable as Atelier Manferdini signature work. The line reflects the firm’s architectural aesthetic, marrying geometrical patterns with organic movement to create unique ways of addressing the body.”

The Adoro collection features four limited edition styles in the form of a necklace, bracelet, ring and earrings. Pricing ranges from $750 to $2,495, the jewelry is available at judithripka.com
