KEY BUSINESS PANELS AND IN-DEPTH RETAILER WORKSHOPS RULE AT CENTURION 2013 |  January 31, 2013 (0 comments)

Scottsdale, AZ—Centurion has powerful education in store for attendees at the upcoming 2013 Show, which opens Saturday night here. Two highly topical back-to-back panel sessions include Financial Management & Your Company, moderated by Don Greig of Focus Business Management Institute with panelists John Jackson, of Maryland-based Albert S. Smyth Co. and Kim Murphy, of Pennsylvania-based Murphy Jewelers; and Dealing With The New Hair-Raising Diamond & Gem Fakes Coming into Your Market, moderated by Terry Chandler, Diamond Council of America, with panelists Alethea Inns of AGS Labratories, Jim Rosenheim of Washington DC-based Tiny Jewel Box, and Dr. James Shigley of GIA.

 

 

 

Don Grieg, above left, will lead a finance discussion with panelists John Jackson of Albert S. Smyth Co. and Kim Murphy of Murphy Jewelers. Below, from left, Terry Chandler will lead a discussion about synthetic diamonds with Althea Inns of AGS Laboratories, Jim Rosenheim of Tiny Jewel Box, and Dr. James Shigley of GIA.

In addition to the keynotes and these panel discussions, Centurion is also offering a new series of Limited Edition Retailer Workshops. These special, in-depth sessions will focus on selected relevant topics, with a small class size perfect for discussion. Seating is limited for these sessions; advance sign-up is needed.

This year's limited edition retailer workshops are:

Gail Friedman, above left, and Lauren Kulchinsky-Levison, center, will discuss merchandise strategies, while Mike Abrashoff, a keynote speaker for the show, will discuss building a team. Below, join peers Lori Roberts, Jennifer Demmary, Ronda Daily, Ashley Daily, and Tiffany Torregrossa to discuss competition and technology.
