Kimberly Adams Russell Appointed CEO of Frank Adams Jewelers May 15, 2024 (0 comments)

Albany, NY--Frank Adams Jewelers has announced the promotion of Kimberly Adams Russell to Chief Executive Officer. Russell succeeds her father, David Adams, becoming the third generation of the Adams family to hold the CEO position.

Per a report published by Capital Region Chamber, Adams Russell joined Frank Adams Jewelers in 1990 and has been instrumental in the company’s growth.

As president, she managed daily operations and oversaw the move to a new store on Wolf Road in Colonie. Her accolades include the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s ‘Fighting Spirit of Cindy Martin’ award, a ‘Woman of Excellence’ designation from the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce, and a ’40 Under 40’ award from the Capital District Business Review.

“My entire life, I have watched my parents’ dedication to our family business,” said Adams Russell, per the report. “I am honored to usher in the next chapter of Frank Adams Jewelers.”

With Russell’s promotion, her son, Jeffrey Adams Russell, will become the Chief Operating Officer, representing the fourth generation of family leadership. Jeffrey joined the company in 2019 and has improved customer experiences, leveraging his degrees in Small Business Administration and Management, and an MBA in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations from Quinnipiac University.

Timothy Ryan, a long-time employee and former Vice President, has been promoted to President. Ryan joined Frank Adams Jewelers in 1998 as a store manager and has over 40 years of experience in the jewelry industry. His community involvement includes supporting local charities and fundraising efforts.
