Lee Michaels Plans Watch Repair Expansion at Corporate Boulevard Store October 01, 2025 (0 comments)
Baton Rouge, LA--Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry will expand its Corporate Boulevard flagship store to include a watch repair workshop, The Advocate reported.

Scott Berg, president of Lee Michaels, said watch repair requests have more than doubled in recent years. The new workshop will add 400 to 500 square feet to the current 10,000-square-foot store.
The store employs one watchmaker and plans to hire another after the expansion. Construction is expected to begin soon and be completed by spring, pending approval of the project permit, according to the report. The company has not released a cost estimate.
The move marks the store's second expansion since 2019, when it nearly doubled in size, added an in-store David Yurman boutique, and expanded its Rolex section, per the report.
Lee Michaels operates stores in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and New Mexico. Its Louisiana locations include the Mall of Louisiana, Lafayette, Shreveport, and New Orleans.
