Let’s Talk Jewelry Store Design: Using Simplicity and Adding More TechnologySeptember 30, 2021 (0 comments)
|West Bloomfield, MI--Clients often ask me "how can I add different technologies to my store?"
My response is that you can transform your business and even make it more valuable by adding different forms of technology. With so many people spending more time shopping online, they clearly want jewelry stores to have a different look and feel: fresh and simple as possible. Here are few ideas for keeping your store simple and introducing tech areas.
Design With Tech In Mind
To have customers access technology is fairly easy, like adding an area with computer screens for clients to look up a variety of educational and promotional opportunities. This digital technology facilitates marketing, aides in sales, and helps owners efficiently process payments. By creating a superior technology experience in your stores, owners have proven to improve sales. In this way, customer satisfaction occurs before, during, and after the sale (See the picture above of the tech table at Simone & Son Jewelers, Huntington Beach, CA, which I designed). The owner told me that the tech table has helped his business and helped the customers not having to wait for employees.
The interior design aspect of adding simple forms of technology is important. Specifically, it is important to have a mix technology throughout your store and provide WI-FI. It is very important to pay attention to traffic flow in the store (see picture below of power supplies for USB cords and two iPads in between the two chairs). Technology gives the customer a new experience to see promotions and marketing while waiting in the store. That is why it is worthy looking ahead so store owners stay on the cutting edge by embracing less clutter while adding some form of technology for your customers.
