Lexington, NE--The allure of engaging with their valued patrons and guiding them to discover exquisite jewelry pieces or revamp cherished keepsakes has led the proprietors of Johnson's Jewelry, situated in the heart of downtown Lexington, to revive their business in a part-time capacity.

Following the store's closure in February 2022 after a sale event, the Doss couple, Sandy and Dave, took a sabbatical. Now they are back in action. According to a report published in Rural Radio, Dave Doss confirms the store's part-time operations.

"Sandy and I decided when we got back from our vacation or time down south to reopen Johnson Jewelry on a part-time basis…basically because we missed working at the store and enjoyed the people here so much that we wanted to provide the services that we knew were needed to keep people able to wear their jewelry on a daily basis…cleaning, checking (keepsakes), small repairs," Dave said, as per the report.

As per Dave Doss, another catalyst for this part-time revival is the remaining stock of jewelry pieces post-closure sale.

The Doss couple reveals that Johnson's Jewelry now welcomes customers from Tuesday to Friday, between 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, this schedule might be adjusted due to medical appointments or other engagements.

Dave Doss asserts that this part-time revival doesn't indicate a potential full-time reopening. As Dave shares in the report, their ultimate vision is for an interested party to purchase the operational store, ensuring a full-time jewelry service in the area.

Those desiring personalized appointments can contact the store at 308-324-3491 and leave a voicemail.
