Lisa Nik Son Alexander Honored for Standout Hockey Performance February 10, 2026 (0 comments)

Blaine, MN--Long-time Centurion exhibitor Lisa Nik owner and designer Lisa Nikfarjam's son Alexander Stoubis was recently recognized for outstanding play by the "2026 Squirtacular" youth ice hockey tournament held here in late January. 

Alexander, (shown above/left), plays defense and wears number 55 for the California Bears, and his team was amonmg 48 AA/A teams competing in this youth tournament.

He finished the tournament as the division MVP, was named to the All-Tournament Team, and led the event in scoring with 15 points (9 goals, 6 assists). He was also named Game MVP in four of five games, including the championship final.

Alexander Stoubis delivered one of the most dominant individual performances in Youth Hockey Hub tournament play at the 2026 Squirtacular. Playing from the blue line, he led the California Bears through a perfect championship run defined by complete defensive control and sustained offensive pressure. 

Listed as a defenseman, Stoubis impacted the game at both ends of the ice, combining shut-down defensive play with high-volume scoring production. Over five games, the Bears outscored opponents 42–0, reflecting consistent control of pace, possession, and execution.

Scouting Snapshot
Two-Way Impact: Operated as a modern rover-style defenseman (#55), activating offensively while maintaining defensive structure. The Bears allowed zero goals during the tournament.

Clutch Consistency: Produced in every phase of the tournament, including the championship game, with repeated impact performances under decisive elimination games. 

Hockey IQ & Vision: Demonstrated advanced spatial awareness and decision-making, recording six assists by identifying teammates through traffic during decisive tournament stages.
