Luxury Jeweler On Television With Locally-Based Watch Brand February 08, 2021 (0 comments)
Bee Cave, TX—M Robinson Jewelers is renowned in the Austin, TX area for its selection of luxury bridal and designer jewelry and watches. The jeweler is an authorized retailer of such prestigious watch brands as Breitling, Franck Muller, IWC Schaffhausen, Montblanc, Omega, and TAG Heuer, and jewelry brands like Hearts On Fire, Simon G, Tacori, Verragio, Roberto Coin, and more.
And Tockr watches. Tock-who?
A new brand just three years old, Tockr is the brainchild of Austin Ivey, a pilot, and co-founded by watch industry veteran Sophy Rindler. Based in Austin, TX, the brand is inspired by all things aviation—Ivey’s grandfather, also a pilot, flew C-47 transport planes during WWII—and many of its timepieces include recycled dials made from actual historic aircraft or battleship metal, or feature miniature airplanes on the second hand.
While the designs are created in Texas, the inner workings of Tockr watches are pure Swiss precision technology. Many of the brand’s pieces are limited edition, owing to its use of recycled aircraft fuselage metal.
Meanwhile, M Robinson Jewelers is using a very creative marketing strategy, by having its experts present segments on Studio 52, a special video segment created by local NBC affiliate station KXAN. In late January, Ryan Ball, M Robinson’s timepiece manager, was featured on Studio 52 to talk about the Tockr brand. Click here or on the image below to watch.
Then Marc Winjen, the store’s diamond buyer, did a segment Monday on Studio 512, talking about Verragio bridal jewelry, in advance of Valentine’s Day. He explained about Verragio’s manufacturing technology and designs. Click here to watch.
