Manhattan Beach Jewelry Store Hit by Smash-and-Grab Robbers in Broad Daylight June 30, 2022 (0 comments)

Los Angeles, CA--A Manhattan Beach Jewelry store was hit by smash-and-grab robbers in broad daylight last Friday.

According to a news report, witnesses saw around eight suspects shattering display cases and taking an undisclosed amount of merchandise from Pasha Fine Jewelry at 217 Manhattan Beach Blvd.

A press release by MBPD highlighted that the suspects broke the display cases with hammers; at least three appeared to be armed with handguns. No shots were reportedly fired.

"This was not just a crime against a person or a business. This was a crime against our entire community," Manhattan Beach Mayor Steve Napolitano said as per the news report. "An armed robbery in broad daylight in our downtown could have resulted in serious injury and death.

"To those who did it, please know MBPD is devoting every resource to catch, prosecute, and jail you. We're going to add additional patrols in our downtown and throughout our commercial and residential areas."
