Bar Harbor, ME--A store in Bar Harbor is the latest addition to the portfolio of Meeta and Gary Jethani — the owners of Miner's Gems — who already have stores in 19 locations across the U.S.

According to a news report, the new outlet by the Jethanis will replace Jack's Jewelry, which had been operating in the space for 47 years. 

The couple, as per the report, where educated at the Gemological Institute of America (GMA). They have brought their passion for gems to their store, which now has gems from around the world. “We carry some rare gems that are only accessible in this lifetime,” said Meetam, as per the report.

The duo is looking forward to welcoming more customers this season. “Our clientele is mostly tourists in our Las Vegas locations and cruise ship visitors in the St. Thomas stores,” said Meeta, who manages the store's sales and merchandising department.
