DEERFIELD BEACH, FL—Contemporary metals Edward Mirell will make one Facebook fan a lucky winner on St. Patrick’s Day. One entrant will receive this teal single-drop Rain necklace valued at $225, the culmination of Mirell’s St. Patrick’s Day Sweepstakes on Facebook.

Says brand co-owner and lead designer Ed Rosenberg, “This is a fun way to get our retailers and consumers more involved with our brand.  We want more interaction on our social media sites, and a contest tied into St. Patrick’s Day seemed like a great fit.  We drive people to our Facebook page, get them interested in our jewelry and hopefully are able connect them with their local retailer.”

The company is in the process of revising its branding strategy.  Part of its marketing plan includes increased celebrity presence, as well as a greater exposure to end consumers through social media promotion.
