New York, NY--Mr. Lawrence (Larry) LeVian, z”l (Yehuda ben Ephraim), chairman of Le Vian Corp., has died, the LeVian family confirmed in a message. He is described as a visionary leader in the jewelry industry and a beloved pillar of the Mashadi and broader Jewish Communities.

Born in 1951 as the eldest son of Mrs. Pary and the late Mr. Abdulrahim Ephraim LeVian, z”l, Mr. LeVian lived a life of dedication to family, community, faith and service to others. He was a loving husband to Mrs. Angela LeVian, a devoted father to Emilia Bassalian, Pamela Livian, Vanessa Livi, and Aaron LeVian, and a cherished brother to Eddie and Moossa LeVian, Liza Etessami, and Suzy Liviem.

Mr. LeVian’s life was a testament to his values: selflessness, unity, and compassion. He dedicated himself to uplifting others in need while tirelessly working to build a legacy of excellence and integrity in his profession, the family said. Everyone that knew him and met him was deeply touched by the amazing person he was.

Honoring His Legacy

 In recognition of Larry’s extraordinary life and immeasurable contributions, Le Vian’s offices will be closed on January 27. Please note:

   •     All third-party online orders placed on Monday will be processed and shipped on Tuesday.

   •     Scheduled trunk shows across the country will continue as planned to honor the dedication to excellence that Larry exemplified.

Burial and Mourning Details

Mr. LeVian’s funeral will take place in Har HaZeitim (Mount of Olives) in Jerusalem, Israel, where he will be laid to rest with dignity and honor. Family members will accompany him on a flight to Israel on Saturday night, fulfilling his wishes to be buried in the holy land.

The shiva (mourning) schedule in New York will begin on Monday, with details to be announced.
