Geneva, Switzerland--In a move set to amplify the onboard experience, MSC Group's luxury lifestyle hospitality brand, Explora Journeys, will launch three high-end watch and jewelry boutiques on its Explora I and II ships. The brands—Cartier, Panerai and Piaget—each have dedicated stores meticulously designed to amplify their unique brand ethos.

According to a report on TR Business, marking its maiden boutique at sea, Panerai's store is a specially-curated space celebrating the brand's essence. The report noted that these stores are scheduled to welcome guests exclusively onboard Explora I starting July 17, 2023.

In the report, Michael Ungerer, Explora Journeys CEO, expressed his enthusiasm over the launch of this luxury retail initiative onboard Explora I. He stressed their mission always to offer travelers a remarkable and memorable experience. 

“Our goal is always to provide our travelers with an exceptional and unforgettable experience, and we believe that our new luxury retail partners, offering the best in Swiss luxury watchmaking and fine jewelleries, will help us to achieve that goal,” he said, per the report.

The CEO added that they aim to offer discerning travelers a shopping experience on par with their commitment to high quality, luxury, and excellence.
