According to a release by the Natural Diamond Council, the first-ever event reached over 30 million people on social media platforms. The council noted a 30% increase in global search demand for natural diamonds during the period, while the use of specific industry hashtags doubled compared to typical weekly averages.

The NDC announcement detailed involvement from over 300 industry entities, including major retailers like Signet and Chow Tai Fook, as well as auction houses Sotheby's and Christie's. Participation extended across the value chain to diamond-producing nations such as Botswana, Canada, and South Africa, involving miners, manufacturers, and luxury designers.

As stated in the release, the organization plans to make the date an annual event. The initiative focused on sharing the origins and craftsmanship of natural diamonds through a unified digital presence.
