Dallas, TX—Troubled luxury retailer Neiman Marcus, which filed for bankruptcy protection in May, has announced it will close three more full-line stores: Walnut Creek, CA; Mazza Gallerie in Washington, DC; and Natick, MA. This is in addition to its previously announced closures of stores in Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach, FL; Bellevue, WA; and its relatively new Hudson Yards location in New York City. The retailer also is closing almost all its off-price Last Call stores to focus on luxury.
The latest Neiman Marcus news comes on top of last week’s announcement that mid-range retailer Lord & Taylor was unable to find a buyer and is liquidating all its stores.
