One Suspect=10 Grab & Runs on Long Island, NY and CT January 24, 2022 (0 comments)
New York Area--An Hispanic male suspect, who was previously pictured in a JSA Crime Alert is reported to have carried out 10 grab and runs on Long Island and in CT since November 2021. He usually targets mall stores, and runs with gold chain, but has also taken other merchandise.
On January 13, 2022 at 6:35 p.m. he requested to look at gold chains in a retail store in Milford, CT (photo above left). After looking at several chains, he selected one. When the sales associate removed it from the showcase and presented the chain to the suspect, he ran from the store with it.
The suspect is reported to have committed similar grab and runs as follows. In at least two of the crimes, the suspect is reported to have fled the immediate scene on a bicycle, possibly then driving to a car and putting in the bike.

The suspect is described as 30 years old, 5 feet and 6 inches with an average build.
