Pittsburgh, PA--Orr’s Jewelers announced that it will open a new store in the Strip District Terminal in the fall of this year.
The location at 1600 Smallman this fall will be the luxury jewelry retailer’s third store in the Pittsburgh area, joining its established stores in Squirrel Hill neighborhood and the Pittsburgh suburb of Sewickley. Orr’s Jewelers originally opened in Midland, Pennsylvania, a suburb north of Pittsburgh.

“Orr’s Jewelers represents a legacy that began with my in-laws and thrives today with my wife, Marcia and daughters, Aliza and Leslie, by my side,” said David Gordon, co-owner of Orr’s Jewelers. “With this expansion, we aim to honor the traditions they started, becoming a trusted resource in the Strip District that helps people celebrate life’s meaningful milestones.”

Gordon said Orr’s Jewelers became interested in the Strip District after witnessing firsthand its transformation. His daughters live in the neighborhood, and the family takes pride in being part of a community that blends historic charm with modern comforts, he said.
“The store’s presence will bring something special to the Strip District and its addition exemplifies how our properties aim to serve as a destination where people can find the best of Pittsburgh,” said Dean Welch, vice president of Pittsburgh operations at McCaffery, the commercial real estate firm that manages the Strip District.
The 8,734-square-foot space will contain a number of luxury jewelry and watch brands, including Cartier, David Yurman, Omega, IWC, Panerai, Roberto Coin and Rahaminov Diamonds.
