New York, NY--Platinum Guild International USA (PGI USA) has launched its first digital Platinum Source Book, as a resource for the industry, making it easier for manufacturers, designers, retailers and service providers to locate products and services featuring the precious metal.

A part of the recently refreshed Platinum Learning Center, the Platinum Source Book is a reference guide for sourcing platinum findings, chain, tools and equipment, as well as refining and business services. In addition, there’s information on schools and educational resources.

Users of the Platinum Source Book can browse by category, or search by keywords and companies, with highlights of the platform including:

Chain Suppliers
Companies that supply platinum chains, either as raw material, pre-made links, or finished necklace chains, for use in jewelry production, ensuring high-quality and consistent supply.

Findings Suppliers
Suppliers that offer small, often intricate components such as clasps, heads, connectors, and embellishments used in jewelry, fashion, or other manufacturing sectors.

Platinum Metal Suppliers
Companies that refine, fabricate and/or distribute platinum metal for use in jewelry.

Business Equipment
Suppliers of machinery, technology, and tools that businesses need for operations within the platinum industry.

Tools & Machinery
Companies that supply specialized tools, equipment, and machinery specifically for jewelry making, including items like soldering kits, pliers, polishing tools, and casting equipment.

“We are regularly fielding inquiries for recommendations for a myriad of platinum-related products and services,” said PGI USA’s Senior VP, Kevin Reilly. “By building this new, easily searchable reference platform, we hope the industry is able to access a wealth of platinum information at their fingertips whenever and wherever needed.”

To view PGI USA’s Source Book, visit www.platinumlearning.com/sourcebook. The Platinum Source Book will be regularly updated to include new products and services. If industry members have any questions or recommendations for companies that should be added to the Source Book, contact Kevin Reilly at kreilly@pgiglobal.com.
