Newport Beach, CA--Consumers are most interested in the highest color grades, according to exclusive data obtained by Centurion.

Consumers are most interested in diamonds with D and E color grades, each at 15.2%. This is followed closely by F color (14.7%) and H color (14.3%).

The data is based on more than 1 million consumer searches provided exclusively to the Centurion by GemFind, a digital marketing and website design company. The findings are from searches at hundreds of independent jewelers’ websites that GemFind manages.

The data seems to indicate that consumers are at first looking to top-colored diamonds and then work their way down the diamond color grading chart.

G-color grades accounted for 13.5% of all web searches, followed by I color (10.6%) and J color (7.1%).

Diamond color significantly impacts both the appearance and price of a diamond, making it a crucial factor for consumers to consider when buying.
