The diamond brand, under the design leadership of Ilaria Lanzoni, continues to evolve and broaden its jewelry offerings with more fashion-oriented collections. In her role as brand ambassador, Baccarin will be showcasing these collections in print advertisements in top fashion and lifestyle magazines such as ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Town and Country, as well as on Hearts On Fire's digital and social platforms. The initial images (shown here) will be shown through fall; a second set will be released for holiday.

Morena is the perfect representative for Hearts On Fire and we are thrilled with our partnership.”

“I had the opportunity to wear Hearts On Fire jewelry on the red carpet, and just loved the way their diamonds made me look and feel,” said Baccarin. “The quality and sparkle of Hearts On Fire diamonds is truly unmatched, and I am really excited to represent the brand.”

Separately, Hearts On Fire will open its second domestic retail store at the King of Prussia Mall in King of Prussia, PA, this fall.

Ken Bessette Joins Jewelers UnBLOCKed Management Team

New York, NY—Ken Bessette, former CEO of PIA Management Services, Inc., has joined Jewelers unBLOCKed’s management team as strategic initiatives partner.

Jewelers unBLOCKed president Pat Low, says Bessette’s long-term leadership position as executive director of the Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) Associations of NY, NJ, CT and NH, “puts him in a uniquely qualified position to help us to expand our partnerships with retail and wholesale agents and brokers. Ken’s 28 years of experience dealing with top-notch insurance producers in the Northeast and countrywide will be of tremendous help in developing relationships with insurance professional producers in offering this exceptional Jewelers Block product and the Chubb Custom brand. Bessette retired his PIA CEO position at the end of 2012, but commenting on coming back to the industry to work with Jewelers unBLOCKed, he said, “the opportunity to work with this highly professional management and underwriting team coupled with the notoriety of the Chubb Group, was too great of an opportunity for me to pass up. I’m delighted to have the chance to get back into the mix and look forward to working with professional agents and brokers again.”

Postal Name Change Can Confuse Jewelry Shippers, Warns Jewelers Mutual

Neenah, WI--Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company is helping guide its commercial policyholders through a potentially confusing postal service name change.

On July 28, the USPS changed the name of its Express Mail service to Priority Mail Express—which could be confused with its standard Priority Mail option and could affect which jewelry packages are covered by insurance and which are not.

Jewelers Mutual's shipping coverage has not changed, and packages shipped via Priority Mail Express will continue to be automatically covered under Jewelers Mutual's Jewelers Block and Jewelers Standard insurance policies. But packages sent via standard Priority Mail—as before—are not automatically covered.

Policyholders are automatically provided with a $100,000 limit of coverage when using Registered Mail, and $25,000 limit of coverage with Priority Mail Express packages.

"By being proactive in helping our policyholder members make informed shipping decisions, we hope to limit any potential losses our customers might suffer," said Darwin Copeman, president and CEO of Jewelers Mutual. JM is sending new materials featuring the updated shipping information to its commercial policyholders. PDF downloads of these important training tools can be found here.
