Aaron Faber Gallery Celebrates 40 Years

New York, NY—The Aaron Faber Gallery marks its 40th anniversary in business with a special exhibition of its most celebrated jewelry artists. “An Evening With Patricia and Edward Faber” was held Thursday, October 9, at the Fifth Avenue gallery. A special video presentation of the event, including guest interviews and the current collection of jewelry on display, can be seen here.

The jeweler, also renowned for its expertise in antique, rare, and unusual watches, hosted its most recent Watch Collectors’ Roundtable on Tuesday, September 9, with a special panel discussion featuring journalists and leaders in the luxury watch collector community. Connoisseurs of luxury in one category tend to choose luxury in other categories. Aaron Faber's 40th anniversary celebration event included a single-malt Scotch tasting.

 

Jewelers for Children Announces 2014 Local Grants Program Winners

New York, NY—Jewelers for Children has announced the winners of it 2014 Local Grants program. JFC set aside $100,000 to be used for 10 grants of $10,000 each, made to local organizations nominated by jewelers and other industry members. Winners were selected by a Facebook-based voting campaign that ran from October 6-19.Nearly 18,000 visitors voted over the two-week period. 

The winners are:

Jewelers for Children will send checks to the nominating organizations, who will then present them to their winning charities. A sample media alert and press release will be provided, allowing the nominating organization to garner local press for themselves and the charity.
