One Jeweler’s Great Quote Reminds Us What Business Means
Las Vegas, NV—“This is not the jewelry fun factory. This is the jewelry business. If it’s not making me money, it has to go!” –Eva-Michelle Spicer, Wick & Greene Jewelers, Asheville, NC.
While covering the news in Las Vegas, The Centurion Newsletter ran into Spicer on the Couture show floor. She offered this little gem (no pun intended) as a piece of advice for jewelers shopping a show. She credits her husband, Elliott Spicer (the couple are shown left) as the original author, but it’s clearly a business motto to live by.
