According to a news report in Avoyelles Today, Terry pleaded guilty to charges including interference with commerce by robbery and using a firearm during a violent crime.

His conviction stems from two armed robberies: one at Korman Fine Jewelry in Austin, Texas, on May 7, 2020, and another at Nederland Jewelers in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on June 8, 2020.

Court documents revealed that Terry coordinated the robbery at Korman Fine Jewelry, where he waited outside in a getaway vehicle while his accomplices stormed the store. One of the robbers shot a security guard and struck a customer before the group stole several Rolex watches. The report noted that investigators linked Terry to the crime through cell phone records.

A month later, Terry and his associates executed another violent robbery at Nederland Jewelers, where they stole more than 34 Rolex watches valued at over $350,000. The group used hammers to smash display cases while one of them held employees at gunpoint.

After the robbery, Terry and his crew attempted to flee but were arrested after a police search led officers to their location.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement agencies in Texas and Louisiana conducted the investigation. Terry’s co-conspirators have also faced charges in connection with the crimes.
