The gem was valued by ancient Greeks, who believed it offered strength in difficult times and protection from harm. Today, blue topaz is linked to clear communication, emotional balance, and creativity. It is also the birthstone for December and is viewed as a symbol of love and faithfulness, making it a common choice for gifts and anniversaries.

Roman Jewelers outlined three main color varieties of blue topaz: Sky Blue, Swiss Blue, and London Blue. The post noted that Sky Blue Topaz is the lightest shade, resembling a clear sky and often used in delicate daytime designs.
