Picayune, MS--For 54 years, Rushing Jewelers has been a community staple in the community. James Rushing and his wife Dianna have prided themselves in creating a warm and welcoming jewelry store. As they head into retirement and close the doors of Rushing Jewelers for good, they’ll be hosting a going-out-of-business sale, offering products up to 70% off for its customers.

The story of Rushing Jewelers began in 1969 when Charles Rushing opened a jewelry store with his son, James. Both men learned how to make and repair jewelry through hardwork and dedication to the craft. Since then, James and his wife spearheaded the business, turning it into a well-known establishment within Picayune.

As they head into retirement, Jim and Dianna say they remember the special moments they’ve shared with patrons of the store, with the most unforgettable being the many times Jim heard “this is perfect” after he presented a custom piece he created. With retirement around the corner, Jim and Dianna are looking back at their legacy with gratitude and pride.

While the decision to close Rushing Jewelers is bittersweet, Jim and Dianna are looking forward to what the future holds. For now though, the closing sale will include diamond necklaces, bracelets, earrings, gemstones, men’s jewelry, wedding bands, engagement rings, bridal sets, and watches at up to 70% off.
