According to an Oregon Live report, Gamble, Douglas Wayne Gamble, 57, the owner of Timeless Jewelers in Salem, currently in custody at Polk County Jail, faces charges of aggravated theft.

According to authorities, Timeless Jewelers abruptly shut its doors last October without returning customers' possessions or issuing prior notice.

The report noted that Salem Police have reported that Gamble’s deceptive practices have cost his customers a staggering estimated loss of $250,000.

Ten individuals have approached the police, alleging they were sold lab-grown diamonds because they were natural. Others claim their genuine diamond jewelry was swapped for fakes or didn't get back items given to Gamble for repairs.

Authorities are urging any other potential victims to come forward, asking to file a police report online or by contacting the non-emergency line at 503-588-6123.

Per the report, court records revealed that Gamble's bail was fixed at $100,000.
