San Francisco, CA—Sisters Pratima and Prerna Sethi, the duo behind the Sethi Couture brand, were recently featured in an article in Modern Luxury Silicon Valley. Image: Stack No. 25 in 18k rose gold and diamond, retail $8,585.
With parents in the diamond business, the two sisters grew up surrounded by jewelry and, as Pratima told MLSV, it’s part of their DNA.
“We loved the meaning behind the jewelry, the heritage and the history that embodied it. We loved how our mother felt empowered to celebrate herself during milestones or important occasions by purchasing a unique piece,” she told the magazine.
With an influence of both Indian and Californian heritage, Pratima, who first founded the line after completing her MBA created a line of fine jewelry that women could easily wear every day and evolve with her lifestyle.
Sisters Pratima and Prerna Sethi are working to donate to Give_India a COVID-19 relief organization.
The sisters have a retail boutique in downtown Los Altos but their wholesale line continues to be popular with better jewelers. They’re regular exhibitors at high-end trade shows like Centurion and Couture, and their jewelry has a celebrity following as well, having been seen on the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift, and more, including Melissa Cohen, daughter-in-law of President and Dr. Biden, who wore Sethi Couture earrings to President Biden’s inauguration ceremony.
