A Facebook post by the International Gemological Institute (IGI) stated that Bassey, renowned for her powerful performances and association with the James Bond theme song "Goldfinger," offered a range of high-end pieces reflecting her glamorous career.

The auction's centerpiece was a diamond necklace featuring more than 52 graduated diamonds, weighing over 100 carats, which sold for over $315,000.

Bassey has spoken about her connection to jewelry, often referring to it as a marker of her milestones.

She famously aligned herself with the theme of "Diamonds Are Forever," a song she performed, highlighting how jewelry holds lasting value even when other aspects of life fade.
