SISSY’S LOG CABIN SWEEPS AJA AWARDS; EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW August 17, 2011 (0 comments)
Little Rock, AR—Bill Jones, president of Sissy’s Log Cabin, with stores in Pine Bluff and Little Rock, was named Jeweler of the Year at the Arkansas Jewelers Association convention held here August 13-14. Additionally, designer Christo Kiffer of Sissy’s Log Cabin swept the AJA’s C.A.R.A.T. design competition, taking top awards in all five categories. Categories included retail price points up to $1,000, for which he created an amethyst and rose gold ring, $1,000 to $3,000, for which he designed an ametrine pendant, and over $3,000, which was a sapphire and diamond necklace on pearls. He also received the Craftsmanship Award and the Design Award. His ametrine pendant is shown above left.
