Stuller Partners with Anglo American for Sustainable Platinum Supply January 15, 2024 (0 comments)

Lafayette, LA--Stuller announced in a blog post a partnership with Anglo American to enhance its offerings with platinum grain sourced responsibly from Anglo American.

Belit Myers, Chief Operating Officer at Stuller, emphasized the company's dedication to the U.S. jewelry market, stating, "We are committed to providing the U.S. jewelry industry with unparalleled access to platinum, as well as focusing on supporting a more socially and environmentally conscious future." 

Benny Oeyen, Executive Head of Market Development PGMs at Anglo American, highlighted their commitment to the U.S. market and sustainable mining practices. "As a leading producer of platinum, we are dedicated to supporting the accessibility of our metal in the U.S. jewelry market," Oeyen said, per the blog post. "Our ambition is to be a sustainability leader in the mining industry and a pioneer in the provision of responsibly mined platinum to the U.S. jewelry industry." 

The partnership ensures that the platinum supplied to Stuller adheres to the standards of the London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM) Responsible Platinum/Palladium Guidance.

Huw Daniel, CEO of Platinum Guild International, commented on the partnership's broader impact. "Bringing together one of the world's leading platinum producers with a storied corporation known for its superior customer service will help us create a new supply channel with the potential to significantly improve the purchasing experience of the jewelry industry at large," Daniel said.
