Tyler, TX--Susan Robinson Jewelry is reopening under new ownership on June 19 at a new location near where the business was housed for nearly 40 years, according to a report from a local TV news outlet.
The mother and daughter duo of Cyndy Hough and Blake Tucker have decided to continue the legacy of the independent jeweler by acquiring the brand and reopening the store, local news station, KETK reports.
Former owner and namesake Susan Robinson is retiring and the old store is being torn down, according to a Facebook post. Many of the original staff will reportedly be kept on. The new owners are Cyndy Hough and Blake Tucker.

In February, the original owner, Susan Robinson, announced that the property was sold to Chick-fil-A, and her retirement. The building was torn down to accommodate the fast-food store. The original store was reportedly named one of America’s leading independent jewelers and were active philanthropically in the community.
