Charlotte, NC Area--The male suspect pictured above left went into a department store on a Friday evening at 8:30 p.m., pulled out a hammer from his hoodie and smashed a jewelry showcase, taking merchandise.

He had come into the store earlier wearing a blonde wig and a baseball cap (photo right), but left and came back without the wig and wearing a different cap.

He is described as slim and with dark hair. He was last seen in a silver, 2011, 4 door BMW. If you have information, contact JSA at 212-687-0328 or jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.

Recommendation: It is a red flag when a customer tries to disguise their appearance with a wig and clothing changes.
