The store is reportedly located on Haggerty Road, which Tapper's Vice President of Marketing Erika Kommer describes as a vibrant community with excellent traffic and exposure, is the largest jewelry showroom in the state and the first freestanding Tapper's location.

The location was strategically chosen to service the western side of metro Detroit. The Novi location has 24 employees, and Tapper's currently has 150 employees.

Established in 1977 in Southfield, Tapper's Jewelry offers a variety of engagement and bridal pieces, Rolex watches, bracelets, necklaces, and earrings.

The company is led by President Mark Tapper, who took over from his father, Howard Tapper, in 2010. The focus for Tapper's is the new Novi location, but Kommer said the possibility of more stores always exists. Tapper's has four other locations in Michigan: Birmingham, Novi, Troy, and West Bloomfield.
