The 1916 Company Expands Its Jewelry Offerings Through Worldwide Engagement December 19, 2024 (0 comments)
Philadelphia, PA--The 1916 Company has expanded its jewelry offerings bringing it out of the in-store environment and onto the world stage by applying the same approach the company used for its worldwide offerings of watches since it was founded in 2023 through the merger of WatchBox, Govberg, Radcliffe and Hyde Park Jewelers.
The company says this approach is built on principles of education, entertainment, and client service, to help its clients worldwide “forge emotional connections with jewelry culture, while providing expert support and guidance throughout their buying journey.”
To deepen this connection, the company launched new content streams on Instagram and YouTube focusing on foundational knowledge, styling advice and guidance on building and caring for their collections.
“Our jewelry initiative mirrors the principles that made our watch business successful: education, entertainment, and personalized support, focusing on the emotional nature of the experience, as jewelry holds both intrinsic and sentimental value,” said John Shmerler Global CEO of The 1916 Company. “We aim to bring passion and knowledge to the space as we help our clients form lasting connections with their jewelry.”

The 1916 Company has its own branded jewelry line along with collections from more than 50 internationally known jewelry brands, including Buccellati, Chanel, Dinh Van, Fernando Jorge, Hoorsenbuhs, Marco Bicego, Mikimoto, Nikos Koulis, Rahaminov Diamonds, Seaman Schepps and Vhernier. The selection includes pre-owned pieces. The collections are presented in The 1916 Company’s multi-brand showrooms and lounges in Philadelphia, New York, Miami, Baltimore, Delaware, Denver, Scottsdal and Newport Beach, in addition to a selection of over 2,000 pieces on its website.
“We are fortunate to share decades-long relationships with many of our jewelry partners, reflecting a shared commitment to quality and tradition,” Shmerler added.
Rahaminov Diamonds is one of the jewelers that partner with The 1916 Company, recently holding a multi-day event at its New York lounge.
“Collaborating with The 1916 Company is about shared values–the dedication to quality, authenticity, and building lasting relationships,” said Amir Goldfiner, owner and president of Rahaminov Diamonds.
The new expansion of its jewelry business includes the addition of jewelry experts, including Eleonor Picciotto, who has assumed the role of editor-at-large for The 1916 Company’s jewelry channels. Picciotto is well known in both the watch and jewelry world for her collaborations with publications and luxury brands and through her popular Instagram platform.
She will host interviews with jewelers, artisans, scholars, and people who simply love jewelry, the company said.
