Tiffany & Co. and CFDA Launch Jewelry Designer Award with $50,000 Prize and Fellowship August 01, 2024 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Tiffany & Co. and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) have announced the Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award, which provides a $50,000 prize and a one-year paid fellowship at Tiffany & Co. for the winning designer.

According to its website, the program will begin in October 2024 and include a multi-week experience that begins with a design challenge led by Tiffany's design team.
The challenge is designed to test participants' creativity and technical skills, with the winner selected by a distinguished selection committee and announced in early 2025.
Applications for the program open on July 29, 2024, and close on August 16, 2024.
Selection Committee
The committee includes notable industry figures such as Alexandre Arnault, Executive VP of Tiffany & Co.; Bethann Hardison, CFDA Board Member; Frank Everett, Vice Chairman of Jewelry at Sotheby's; actress and author Gabrielle Union; Creative Director and Stylist Jahleel Weaver; designer Jason Wu; supermodel and actress Joan Smalls; Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer at Tiffany & Co.; and Rajni Jacques, Global Head of Fashion & Beauty at Snap Inc.
Eligibility
The award is open to U.S. legal residents who are 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
Application Process
Applicants must submit their personal details, resume, portfolio, and answers to questions about their experience and vision via Tiffany Careers. Applications will be evaluated based on design experience, sketching abilities, digital and hand rendering skills, 3D CAD design, and concept development.
