Tiffany & Co. Taps Louis Vuitton Executive for Deputy CEO Role February 05, 2026 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Tiffany & Co. has appointed David Ponzo as deputy chief executive officer, a newly created position that absorbs responsibilities previously held by former chief commercial officer Gavin Haig, who departed the company last year.

As per a report by Fashion Network, Ponzo joins the LVMH-owned jeweler from Louis Vuitton, where he served as chief commercial officer for five years. His new remit covers Tiffany & Co.’s global retail and corporate commercial operations, as well as the jewelry and high jewelry product divisions. The role also includes oversight of a newly established strategic business development function.
Prior to his tenure as CCO at Louis Vuitton, Ponzo was president and CEO of Louis Vuitton Japan and held senior leadership roles at Swatch Group and Omega in Asia.
Concurrently, the retailer has promoted Thierry Vasseur to executive vice president of jewelry, high jewelry, and home and accessories. In this expanded capacity, Vasseur will direct product marketing and merchandising strategies for the division.
