The Facebook post shared by the business highlighted the store’s legacy of providing “uncompromising service, exquisite jewelry, and timepieces” to its valued clients. The post also noted that the store is liquidating its entire stock, offering discounts of up to 70% as part of its closing process.

Straub expressed his gratitude to clients and the community for their support over the decades, stating, “Once again, thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.”

The sale began with a private three-day preview event from November 11–13, offering clients early access to the store’s inventory. While the initial preview period has ended, the liquidation sale continues through November and December, per details shared in the Facebook post.

The closure marks the conclusion of a prominent 45-year legacy in Brookfield, where Treiber & Straub became known for its high-quality diamond jewelry, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and luxury timepieces.
