Two Months After Launch, The Diamond Price List Exceeds Forecasted Usership August 16, 2021 (0 comments)
Tampa, FL—The Diamond Price List (DPL™), a new app for diamond pricing offering transparency, interactivity, and data-driven accuracy, says initial usage has exceeded its forecasted expectations. In its first two months of existence, the DPL app (image), developed by Lucy Platforms, has been downloaded more than 20,000 times, logging multiple calculations per user by its global community, led by the United States and other major diamond centers around the world.
The independent, market-referenced price list for polished diamonds makes use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science algorithms to ensure transparency and objectivity, allowing for the market to be reflected in the most accurate capacity. The Diamond Price List is one of the three-part offerings debuted by the company in June; it is partnered with the first downloadable diamond calculator app, as well as the first diamond marketing insights platform.
“We have been pleasantly surprised by the industry’s immediate embrace and acceptance of the DPL in these initial months,” said Miguel Martinez, Lucy Platform’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Feedback has been strongly positive, specifically regarding the ease and convenience of use, as well as the magnitude and breath of activities both on the site and the app. It is now a key daily tool in many diamantaires’ and jewelers’ arsenals.”
DPL will be exhibiting at JCK Las Vegas (Booth L207), offering socially distanced tutorials and platform introductions to the industry. For more information, visit www.thediamondpricelist.com or to schedule an appointment at the JCK Show, (August 27-30) contact info@thediamondpricelist.com.
