ViewPoint Celebrates Fourth Turn on “Oprah’s Favorite Things” November 29, 2010 (0 comments)
New York, NY—For the fourth time in six years, ViewPoint Showroom has had one of its brands featured on the famed “Oprah’s Favorite Things” episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show.
This year’s episode, which aired Friday, November 19, opened with a Philip Stein watch as the very first item given away. This marks the third time the watch brand was featured on “Oprah’s Favorite Things,” with previous appearances in 2003 and 2005. ViewPoint is the exclusive sales and marketing agency for Philip Stein. It also is the exclusive agent for ToyWatch, which celebrated a placement as one of “Oprah’s Favorite Things” in 2007.
In honor of her final season, Oprah featured the Limited Edition Philip Stein “O” watch, created in honor of the show’s 25thanniversary. It features a silver “O” and silver numbers “2” and “5” on the dial surrounded, by 58 hand-set diamonds. Retail price is $2,340.
“This show is the pinnacle of good press and visibility worldwide,” says Jim DeMattei, president of ViewPoint. “To be celebrating our fourth hit on the show during her final season is an honor that few brands get to experience. We are grateful that our brands have been able to make a name for themselves with influencers like Oprah Winfrey.”
ViewPoint is a full-service sales and marketing company with a unique point of view, acting as the sales and marketing division to many prestigious designer and watch brands.
