WJA To Host Forum on Hiring Practices at Centurion Show January 12, 2024 (0 comments)

New York, NY--The Women’s Jewelry Association will host a panel discussion about hiring practices during the Centurion Jewelry Show.

The discussion titled, “How Employers Are Revolutionizing Hiring Practices to Combat Talent Shortages,” will be held at the Arizona Biltmore Ballroom on January 29, 8:30 – 9 a.m.

Two industry specialists will discuss how employers are adapting their hiring practices to combat talent shortages, while offering insights into strategies that can shape the future of talent acquisition in the jewelry industry.

The two speakers are:

Julie Harvey, a talent recruitment partner who has worked with CVS Health, Nike Inc, Mars Inc, Bayer, and Thermo Fisher Scientific; and

Lisa Fristik, CEO of My Working Soul. Fristik was formerly the director of Stores at Michael Kors, who played a pivotal role in launching 60 stores, leading expansions, and overseeing the recruitment, hiring, and training of more than 1,000 employees.

The Centurion Jewelry Show will be held at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, January 27 – 31.
