New York, NY--The International Gemological Institute (IGI) and the Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association (DMIA) are introducing same-day diamond verification initiative for DMIA members. Once established, IGI will be offering this service to additional groups in the diamond industry.

The diamond verification service, developed by IGI in collaboration with DMIA, ensures a same day expedited turnaround time for both single stones and parcels, the two organizations said in a joint statement. DMIA members can access the service by completing a submission form, available through the organization or at the IGI intake counter in its New York offices located at 545 Fifth Avenue, 11th Floor.

Representatives from IGI will present the same-day verification service program alongside the DMIA Diamond Integrity Committee (DDIC) to provide comprehensive details and address queries from members.
