Paso Robles, CA—New consumer research from MVI Marketing brings new insights into Millennial bridal customers. In a recent study where MVI interviewed Millennials, some surprising findings emerged: one, Millennial women might not be as involved in choosing their rings as we thought. Of the consumers interviewed in this video, more of them said they’d rather their fiancé pick the ring himself and surprise them with it than said they want to choose it themselves. Good news is that the overwhelming majority would still prefer to make the final purchase in a jewelry store rather than online.

Perhaps the most surprising thing is what they said they want in their rings: color! While it’s an established fact that Millennials are all about personalization, virtually every one interviewed by MVI expressed a desire to have some kind of color in their engagement ring, usually as an accent to the diamond. White gold remains the preferred metal for bridal.
