Retail News: Stanley Jewelers Takes Customers On Diamond-Mining Trip October 01, 2014 (0 comments)
North Little Rock, AR—Sometimes customers can really try one's patience. And sometimes all a jeweler wants to do is tell them to go mine their own diamond.
Stanley Jewelers Gemologist is in the lucky position to be able to do just that, and without chartering a plane. Last week, the jeweler took a busload of customers to Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro, AR. 30 customers went on the outing, which was part of a diamond-focused event in the store, that also included a diamond-cutting demonstration featuring Mike and Evert Botha from Embee Diamonds in Canada.
A good time was had by all at Stanley Jewelers' outing to Crater of Diamonds State Park.
“No one found anything,” says president Laura Stanley. “Calcite, quartz, jasper...rocks.” But 50 customers did come to Embee’s diamond-cutting demonstration in the store the next day.
