According to a Fox 10 report, the owners of Lake View Jewelry Boutique, Boris and his son Moisei, who have run the business for five years, believe the burglary was planned.

The incident occurred off Hayden Road, where the store has a security system, including motion-detecting cameras with laser triggers. Per the report, the system was triggered at 2:59 a.m., and within 53 seconds, the burglars had escaped. Surveillance footage shows the suspect loitering outside before forcibly entering, indicating the act was premeditated.

"I think I was followed," Moisei suggested in the report, pointing to a possible coordinated attack. The distinctive nature of the stolen jewelry, each piece uniquely crafted by Boris with his initials and containing hidden compartments, could aid in recovery efforts.

In response to the burglary, the owners are soliciting help from the community. They are requesting residents of the Islands at McCormick Ranch to review their security footage for any suspicious activity around the time of the burglary. The family hopes that the unique characteristics of the jewelry will lead to its recovery and the perpetrator's capture.
